I bought a pair of shoes from Meltz about a month ago. I have worn them 4 times. The entire heel has now come off. I went to Meltz today. I don't have a slip or the original package because I did not expect the shoes to not last 4 times' wear. The manager said that he cannot do anything since I don't have the slip and package. I told him that I would not buy anything from Meltz again which he said is 100%. I was wondering if Meltz head office feel the same and if they would be willing to respond. I realise the manager might have a point, but I do not feel that this is reasonable or fair to the consumer. I spend much more than the cost of these boots on clothes. There must be a better way to handle this. It is my opinion that Meltz is being penny wise and pound foolish.
