Replace with cheaper version

After complaining at Joshua Door about a couch that I purchased there breaking (Leather couch) they took a month to come fetch the couch, then I get a call from Vita Foam (company fixing it) saying they can't replace the leather, will I be fine with a softer material, fine by me, but are reluctant to replace the price difference. Not fair that I pay for leather and get something else!
