Declining transactions

I went to Pick n Pay Little falls on the 11th of March to buy a few things and get cash back as well. It was the last money i had in my account for the month. I received the sms saying that the transaction was successful, then the cashier says it was declined. So i left with no groceries and no money withdrawn. And I am still waiting, 9 days later for the money to be returned to me. If it wasn't my last money it wouldnt be an issue, but now it is unfortunately.
