Yesterday the 14th of March 2013 I made several liquor purchases of which were 2 x Windhoek Draught 440ml 6packs, I was charged R64.95 each, I queried the price with the cashier who advised that it was correct, I am of the opinion that I was over charged, This is a brand that I purchase often and I am aware of the selling price even after the liquor and tobacco increase. I would normally pay around R45.00 per six pack, So in this case I was charged over R20.00 each, I called Makro and spoke to Archie Nxumalo who was helpful to a certain extent, we both called other stores, I got the following pricing Ultra Liquors - R53.99, Tops at Spar - R54.99 and Liberty - R46.99, he says that they are selling old stock... Not happy with that explanation.
