Woolworths does not follow up on complaints

On Thursday the 28th of February I sent Woolworths customer care and email because my family and I had reached the end of our ropes with the poor quality of food we had purchased at Woolworths over the past few days. Things like fermented yogurts which had not expired yet, baby carrots and nectarines that were so hard and fibrous they were inedible and chicken cordon bleu's that had bones and PLASTIC inside of them. I sent an email to Woolworths customer care, giving detail to all of these problems, as well as photographic evidence. Woolies replied the next day with a bunch of questions I was happy to take the time to respond to. I was then told by Akhona Mogatle on the 4th of March my response was being handled and given a reference number. 8 days later I have not received any further communication from Woolworths. This totals 12 days it has taken Woolworths to do nothing about these problems. My advise to fellow Woolworths patrons, stop shopping at Woolworths, Pick n Pay seems to have better quality products and actually fully deal with complaints they may receive. Extremely disappointed in a store I was a loyal patron of for many years.
