The worst shopping experience at Edgars

I went to Edgars Cpt city to purchase a top, store was extremely busy and I finally managed to get the perfect item on the sale floor, after standing in a queue for approximately 1hr 20mins, I was told I need to pay at the next floor, which I didnt quiet agree with but proceeded, stood in that queue for 20mins to be assisted and told I need to pay for ladies items on the ladies floor now I was extremely due to the fact that Pos cashiers shoud be able to process any floors item, this was upsurd and pathetic, I had never received such service ever and was extremely dissapointed in my 1st visit to this Edgars store and well they completely failed to offer me customer service, the staff showed no empathy towards my complaint and didnt even greet me when I was eventually assisted therefore I decided to lodge this complaint, I always enjoy warm, friendly, welcoming staff assisting me at any Edgars I shop at but this the worst ever and I am totally dissapointed. This experience spoilt my entire day and my visit to Cpt. Staff should atleast be more considerate and helpful, friendly in the future. I am certain I wasn't the only client whom felt this way on that specific day.
