Ridiculous response from Pick 'n Pay FB page on my post as follows: This is a shoutout to all shopping centres and supermarkets in South Africa. A lot of people, including me, detest this people who grab at your shopping trolley the minute you step outside. I do NOT want my groceries handled by someone who has been scratching at his whatevers, handled all kinds or whatevers, the entire day and never washes his hands. I also often have things in the boot of my car that I regard as private and not for public scrutiny. I may have cash, electronics, camera, etc. etc. Now I do NOT want YOUR person to hang around me while I place my shopping in my car. It is really difficult to manage my anger when I have politely told a person that I do not require his assistance and he continues to follow me. PLEASE just start a new trend. Tie a little flag to the front of every shopping trolley. If the person is happy to accept the assistance, they can let the little flag hang on the outside of the trolley. If not, they can swing it inside. So simple. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! [URL Removed]
