Zara
Zara NOT shopper-friendly!

Shops, Products, Services

On Friday 1st March 2013 my daughter and I went shopping to Sandton City. My 18 month-old grandson was with us and, as he's not too fond of his pram, my daughter put a little blanket on the bottom of a Woolworth's trolley and we pushed him around in that. He eventually fell asleep in the trolley. I was looking for an outfit for a wedding and walked into various boutiques without a problem. When we tried to enter Zara, we were stopped by Security and told that we could not enter with the trolley. We asked to see the manager and Security went to fetch a lady, who once again told us we were not allowed in with the trolley. She could see that my grandson was asleep in the trolley. When we asked her why the trolley was not allowed in and prams were, and pointed out that we'd been in to other stores with the trolley, she said that "it was not store policy". Needless to say we left and I bought an outfit elsewhere! On principle I will not shop at Zara again.
