Absolutely Terrible Service

My wife and I were out shopping at Westgate Mall on Saturday and Edgars had reps outside ushering clients in to sign up for accounts.

My wife, wanting an account with Edgars decided we should follow the well dressed gentlemen into the store and we did...

We submitted the required details with the utmost patience, while enduring the banter and bad natured comments Edgars employees flung at each other ever so often.

After waiting for more than an hour to have the account validated. The store rep we spoke to came back to us to say that at her managers request, she couldn't issue our card and finish the application, unless we stood in the sales and queries line.

Apparently Edgars have no qualms with letting customers wait for hours in their stores.

We decided to wait and when we reached the end of the line we were told that the "system is offline" and our application could not be completed. We were asked to come back the following day.

Edgars Westgate Mall. You have lost a potential client. You obviously couldn't care less about your customers. Sheperding people from one queue to the next like animals.

The manager needs urgent customer relations training.
