Inferior Meat

Yesterday my wife and I decided to buy some of the Gourmet racks of lamb at the Bellairs Spar which always looked great, but we've never tried before.
After roasting it in the oven, when cutting into the meat, it was discoloured with a blue-ish green colour.
We ignored this and ate some of it, which tasted off. It also had a kind of sour-ish odour.

I'm not sure if this is what the branch does to old meat which is not sold in their butchery. There is also no best before date as this item is on display in a counter, and is packaged when bought.
Therefore we cannot be sure exactly how long this meat stood in that counter.

This meat was by no means cheap, as the money spent could have paid for two meals in an upmarket restaurant from the likes of Monte Casino.

I would like some action from Spar, and an investigation into why we were sold such inferior meat.
I do not have the receipt or packaging from the meat, however we still have the uneaten meat.
