Cellphone never repaired/never returned

Last July (BB purchased in March 2012) I returned my Blackberry 9300 to American Swiss in Vangate Mall because the charger exploded in the port when I attempted to charge it. Weeks passed and I received no feedback. I then made contact via telephone and the sales assistant advised that the phone wouldn't be repaired. I was not satisfied with this response, as an exploding phone is clearly manufacturing problem. I was told that they would make the necessary calls and get back to me - this never happened. A few weeks later I visited the respective branch and was again told that they can only contact the necessary persons during the week, and that the whereabouts of the phone was unknown. It is now January 2013, and I still have not received any feedback. I am unable to deal with this dilemma during the week, as I work. I have since aquired a new BB, due to your staffs complacency and inefficiency, and therefore want to be refunded for my purchase. I find your service levels to be way below satisfactory, and feel disconcerted that a purchase I made for, and a guarantee that was due to me was just ignored and forgotten. This is unacceptable. I am available for contact after 5pm.
