I applied in store for a new account in the first week of Jan 13. About 4 weeks went by and no word about approved or declined account so I phoned. O no they say there was a dormant account in my name so they had to close it and re-apply but they are not sure if it was submitted so she'll submit it again just in case. Then about 2 weeks later I phoned again, there's a system problem and they will get their IT dept to load the account. I asked what the turnaround on opening accounts were and they replied normally 4 days. This is more than a month now!!! Then someone phoned to say it's approved and I'll get my card within a week. Another couple of weeks went by and I phoned today and I was informed no card was issued in my name I need to go to a store!!! Why bother applying if it takes 2 MONTHS PLUS!!! And thanks for keeping in touch to make sure everything is fine!!! When in fact I had to phone to follow up the whole time about the progress!!! IT IS NOW MARCH!! I APPLIED IN FIRST WEEK OF JAN!!! When I said do me a favour just close the account she asked okay you want to close the account?... DO YOU JUST NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SERVICE AND CUSTOMERS!!!???
