If account is approved or not

I have applied for account with house & home fourways since Friday the 21 of FEBRUARY but to this day when ever i call to inquire about the status they say the account is with granting officer for the past four day. I'm not really happy about the situation. I'd prefer if they notify me if i don't qualify or not.
