Unlawfully black listed

In April this year I had financial problems and could not pay my account, I was then subsequently called by an agent from rainbow finance who was extremely rude, I told her there was not need to be rude as this was unprofessional and uncalled for at which point she tried to threa6ten me with her inadequate knowledge of law. A month later I applied for a senior post at work and I was informed I was an successful due to the fact that I had an adverse listing from house and home. I then checked my credit record and discovered this was true, yet they still expect me to pay after tarnishing my record! I have spent the past 3 weeks trying to get ahold of someone who could help make this nightmare go away. I no longer qualify for any thing due to this madness, Thanks to house and home I can't get a promotion. They listed me on the 20th of May 2013. I have wasted so much of my time trying to get this mess sorted out.
