Old meat btw beef tastes like rubber too

I just spent the whole morning cooking stew with the lamb necks i bought at fruit n veg in swakopmund this morning only to taste it now and the meat is off it tastes weird like old chemicals n acidic n moldy. last week i bought a sausage roll there n it had the same taste i just threw the thing in the bin. but now i've taken all the meat from the pot n am going to return it to them, i'm actually scared now to get any other of their meat so i will just take a refund (if they don't refund me u will know). i mean sies man!! don't sell rubbish. since it has happened twice now i'll definitely not buy meat there again.
