Edgars hounding my mother 6 months after her death

My mom passed away more than 6 months ago and within a month of her death I had submitted all the relevant documents to Edgars. Her benefits were paid out and as far as I was concerned it was all settled.

for the past two weeks I have been receiving calls that have been less than polite demanding payment of an outstanding balance by a collections company that Edgars had handed my late mother's account over to.

The agents calling have been downright rude and the last one who called about 5min ago was the worst of all.

These calls are bordering on harrassment. Why can't they let the dead rest?

It's been hard enough losing my mother without having to deal with these rude and inconsiderate people.

This is totally unacceptable!!!

I will be expecting a formal apology, in writing, from everyone concerned.
