ILLOVO GOLDEN SYRUP

I bought Illovo Golden Syrup on the 10th of February at Brooklyn Checkers. When I want to open the tin tonight it was al crystalised "sandsuiker" syrup.
I immediately had a look at the expiry date and o my word it was the same date and batch number that I reported to one of the managers about 3 months ago. Needless to say again I already throw the slip away.
L3 BATCH 44 10/11 BB/17/ AUG/ 2012 is still selling after the first complaint. In between I bought also another tin and that was 100%.
My question is: was nothing done to ensure there is not old stock on the shelves and what happened to the FIFO system or is it actually Illovo Sugar Limited that dispatch expired food.
Hope this matter can be solved as soon as possible.
