Vouchers not redeemable, bad service

My son won R500 vouchers from Soviet in a letter that the vouchers could be collected from Soviet. My wife and son went to Soviet in Menlyn, but were told vouchers could only be collected from head office in Midrand. My wife phoned Soviet, spoke to Simone who agreed to deliver the vouchers to Menlyn. It took 2 months and many phone calls to get the vouchers to Menlyn, but was told Soviet Menlyn cannot process these vouchers, (Reason remains unclear) and that they could only be redeemed at Soviet Sandton.
On Saturday 9 Feb we went to Soviet in Sandton. I asked the guy at Soviet to check that the vouchers and was told that each card was for R500. He also said any sale items would be at full price. We selected shoes and a watch. This chap then said we could purchase anything with vouchers except watches. I disagreed with him, but he said "No not here, the money in the vouchers is our money and therefore we make the rules".
The shop guy then made a phone call, and told us that there was a problem with the vouchers, Simone was unavailable and we must pay cash, and someone from Soviet would phone me on Monday. I still have not received a phone call from Soviet.
