Poor advise

My son is in high school and on the swimming team and competes at national level. A while ago his coach advised me to look into supplements that could help with his endurace as he gets tired halfway through his training. I have no clue where to start or what he should use. A friend suggested I go to dischem and ask for advise. I talked to a couple of young guys who seemed eager to help, the one guy told me that my son should use biogen testogen and that it would help him with his training and even make him faster, so i took it thinking that he knew what he was talking about. After about 2 weeks my son's skin looked horrible and he had the weirdest mood swings so I took him to the doctor. He then asked if he was using any performance enhancing drugs or supplements such as testosterone or creatine. So I told him that I bought a supplement from dischem and explained why he was using it. The doctor told us that he should stop taking it immediately and that it is toxic for a person in his teens. He said that his blood pressure is a bit high and that it could damage his kidneys. I am so angry and disappointed! Where do these people get trained if even at all? Your advise is poor and incorrect!
