Stock online, but no stock when I pay!

I ordered a tablet online and selected next day delivery. It was a like for like bank transfer. there was stock indicated online. When I called this morning, as I had not received any feedback, I was told that on the morning payment check the funds did not appear. I said that I doubt it very much, I think its just an excuse. Now this afternoon I receive and e-mail that there is no stock and it will take 5-7 days to get. Then I should just go to Matrix or some other shop and purchase one now. I am not happy at the obvious deception. An online shop should not display incorrect stock.
