Very bad service during quarantee period

On 2 January 2014 I bought a BENJAMIN TRAIL WOOD airgun from Midas. The housing of the Nitro piston crack open /- 1 cm within two weeks. I took it back to Midas were I was informed that it would take several weeks because the airgun must be send to Durban. I was given a name and number of the relevant people in Durban (Mercia) who told me that they can't discuss anything with me. They will give feedback to Midas Rustenburg who will then give me feedback. Needless to say I never received any feedback. When I followed up with Midas Rustenburg I was told that the gun was not send to Durban, but that they are waiting for the rep. I was told that the rep might come to Rustenburg next week (which was last week). Again I did not receive any feedback. When I phoned again I was told the rep might come next week. Two weeks later I still don't have any idea when I will get feedback. I am concerned, WHAT IF THE GUN BURST WHILE MY CHILDREN ARE SHOOTING???
