Ink cartridges double the price from others

A staff member ordered ink from Siyakhula. They charged R568.86 for HP 940 XL yellow and R682.86 for HP 940 XL Black. When I checked with our regular suppliers, they charge for HP 940 XL only R413 and for HP 940 XL Yellow R268. I phoned Siyakhula and they told me that their ink is oil based and will last longer whereas other inks are water based. They all look the same and there is no reason for me to use oil based products. When I queried them more, they guy got aggressive and said he will give me 10% discount and we will call it a day. I feel that they have ripped me off and am now insisting on me paying nearly double for the same product.
