SPAR KARAGLEN ROTTEN MEAT

Late on Saturday afternoon we purchased over R900 groceries at Spar, including a lot of meat.

We went straight home and put it into the fridge which is set at a cold temperature

When we opened the bulk chicken pack on Sunday morning the stink of rotting chicken was obvious and overpowering.

We returned the meat to the store. The manager refunded the value of the chicken, but was totally disinterested in our complaint, and even kept us waiting for refund while he chatted to a friend/customer.

There are some excellent managers at Karaglen Spar, but there is one old manager who has zero people skills. I spend R1000s every month at this store, but I will be avoiding it from now on wherever possible.

Shame on you Karaglen Spar - I expected more
