In December I purchased two bicycles from the store. When I told them that the seat was damaged on the one they said my child had cut it with scissors., This was later rectified by their head office sand the bicycle replaced. I have since been to The Glen twice to have the pedal replaced on the one bike and the on the other the pedal bearings where broken on the other one. I was told that I would be contacted within a week as I had to wait for both bikes to be repaired. Once again my son was told that the pedal was broken by the child falling off the bike. As the child is learning to ride the bike I find this inappropriate.By chance one of the staff saw my son in the street and told him that the bike was back and so was the pedal. When he went there the manager, Brian, Said they had lost all his details so couldn't contact him. I went back to The Glen today as the other pedal broke and once again my grandchild was told not to keep breaking the pedals, as they would not replace them again. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. When you want to accuse somebody of something like that feel that he should be 100% sure of his facts and be able to prove that the child is breaking them.
