Call Centre staff can't help me with my query

Been trying for 6 weeks now to resolve a query with Edgars Financial Services. Have phoned about 20 times. Each time you get a different agent and go through the whole story again. Each time the agent is unable to help me and says their supervisor will get back to me. No-one has ever called me back. I also get different answers from different agents. My issue is that I took out a domestic insurance policy in 2005 for which I am paying R55 per month on my account. I am trying to get current details of this cover. It appears that Edgars don't sell this policy anymore so no-one knows about it. Some agents tell me to phone Hollard Insurance which I have done but they know nothing about it and say to contact Edgars. If this policy doesn't seem to exist, why didn't they notify me and why are they still deducting money from me. If I am battling to get answers now, can you imagine how I would battle if I were to try to claim. I would just like to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about and can help me with this. I am wasting so much time repeating the story every time I phone and being put on hold for ages each time.
