Poor stock/procurement management

Makro recently ran the R100 100 days promo.despite 5 visits to the store over a 2 week period the chicken portions advertised was never available.eventually and after realizing that the costs of petrol etc I could have bought the chicken cheaper from across the road at another major retailer I spoke to an attendant who calmly and honestly responded that the chicken never came into stock and was unlikely to happen soon. I have decided that responding to specials at makro is a useless exercise.not surprisingly a few of my friends also encountered similar issues on a regular basis.something somewhere is just not right.
