Ignorant of consumer protection act

9 Jan 2013 purchased aqua optima awd001 water cooler/purifier, after 10 days stopped working, returned 24 jan to be told they have 21 working days to come back to me, did not offer to replace unit. This is a hygiene issue as well as breach of the consumer protection act which I read up about since.
