Etrenched, had an account protection plan

I was retrenched in oct 2011, had an account protection plan, sent and took neccessary documents to Jet Market street more than 5times, got a call 2013 saying that i owe Jet, when we follow it up I got a clearance letter from Gill/Jill Marduray stating that my protection plan paid, now all of a sudden i receive call from all over telling me that i must paid more than R5000, please advise how can i pay when the above mention person notified me that I dont owe them anything, please assist!!! What was the protection plan for? Whose fault is is, why did they take that long?
