Small PnP on a slippery slope to gross

I used to love the small Pick n Pay on the corner of Haymeadow Crescent and Solomon Maghlangu avenue. I was so impressed that about two years ago I started stopping at the small Pick and Pay every night after work to pick up dinner ingredients.

A few months ago the small PnP started operating under new management. What really concerns me is the lack of hygiene and the management's cavalier attitude when a customer focuses their attention on it. I understand that the air conditioning unit was faulty, which explains why the shop was way too hot, but the management did not take measures to ensure that the meat products were kept safe.

The rotisserie chicken is now kept in a dirty heating cabinet on the shop floor and I had an incident where my family and I ate questionable red meat which lead to us all being sick.

The next day when I addressed the issue with a manager he didn't offer any apologies, he claimed the meat was fine but the eggs might be turning because of the heat. He treated me like an insolent child who didn't know what rotten meat smells like.

Please take interest in this PnP and correct the issues. I miss having a friendly clean local Pick and Pay.
