Lack listed incorrectly

I wanted to get a cell phone contract and found out that Foschini has blacklisted me for a life policy I had when I had an account with them. I closed the account in 2011 and was under the impression that everything that has to do with the store will be closed. Imagine my surprise when I found out that I have a negative credit rating cause I'm in "arrears" for a policy I had. To my obviously very little knowledge you can't be blacklisted for a policy, it should lapse. I have since the beginning of November 2013 been trying to get this corrected with no success. I called the head office and was passed from pillar to post, after being on the call for what seemed like hours I was promised that this will be resolved. I'm still waiting. I can't begin to explain the inconvenience this has brought to my life but when companies do such they don't care about us. Of cause no one informed me before the history was published on all the credit bureau that there was such a policy otherwise I would have asked them to close this as well. I am not happy at all about the attitude Foschini is showing with dealing with this. I DON'T OWE THEM therefore have no relationship with them. Clear my name
