Dischem used to have a system where customers were reminded by phone when their Chronic medication was due; a system stopped a few months ago without notice. Now, trying to phone in has become a most frustrating task as the dispensary does not answer the phone. Often the switchboard also takes ages to answer. Leaving a message for a call-back does not work efficiently as they take hours to call back and who can sit next to the phone all day waiting?! Please get organised and manage the situation so that there is an appointed person in the dispensary who can answer the phone and deal with those customers. I do feel that customers who phone in are just as important as customers who attend in person and should be treated with the same courtesy. Dischem started off so well but now that they have established a large customer base they seem to have slacked off as far as efficient service is concerned.
