Went into Rage Menlyn to buy shoes and got helped by the sales person. When it was time to pay I advised her that I have a birthday voucher and was told the store was offline and they could not process the voucher to my amazement as any store that is off line the transaction is done manually. During this time I got infuriated and i asked the lady to call the head office and was told that their phones were down and did not even know the nmber, it take another 5 min to find it. I called head office and spoke to Karen (HR) who later advised that she spoke to the call centre and that the store is not offline and that the phones were working and also advised that she spoke to the store mgr and was told by her that I needed to pay my acc and some other story which was untrue. They even laughed at me which Is very disrespectful. I went back to the store as I really wanted the shoe and the store mgr still could not process the voucher. Is this how you treat your customers? I got hold hold of Karen who advised that the situation will be dealt with and if I still want to go back to the store to purchase the shoes. Would anyone want to go back if they get treated this way?
