Woolworths had a special offer 20% off shoes when you buy two pairs. On their webpage they stated orders must be placed my midnight on Saturday 14 December 2013.

We placed our order on the Saturday received the 20% discount at check out. We were advised that the delivery date would be Saturday 21 December 2013. On Saturday the 21st we stayed at home expecting the delivery in the afternoon I got an email advising the order had been delayed. Not a problem I thought.

Then on Sunday 22nd I got a call from cape town @ 12:30pm advising that they did not have stock and that the order would take another 3 weeks to arrive. The lady further advised that as they had not had a chance to get the order ready before the cut off I had to pay the full price and could she process the difference.

I protested advising that I had made the order before the closing date of the discount and that I had paid and received the discount already. A rude lady advised that this is how it was and that if I was not happy about paying the difference they could just refund me my money!

How can they say place your order by midnight & then say well woolworths did not process in time so we have to pay full price
