Pick n Pay Cheddar Cheese R82.50 per kg. Therefore Pick n Pay Cheddar Cheese 500g must be R41.25. There was no price anywhere near the 500g cheese. It was right next to the 1kg cheese. At the till I was charged R46.99 for 500g. That works out to R93.97 per kg! Staff told me that Pick n Pay packaged the cheese and bulk buys were always cheaper. That is nonsense and has been proved to be so many times at Pick n Pay and Checkers. Bulk buys are not always cheaper. Disgusted at what amounts to outright deception.
