Other Spars could learn a thing or seventeen

I bought a bread from this Spar and it wasn't baked through. I took it back to Pineslopes Spar (mistakenly thinking I'd bought it there). Their attitude was totally uncaring to start with and I got a feeling they were triumphant when they were able to alert me to my mistake.
Broadacres is somewhat out of my way, so I called them instead of trekking through to their store. They offered to send a driver to my home to fetch the loaf! I suggested emailing photos and while I was scratching in my handbag for an elusive pen, Michael asked me for my email address so that I could simply reply. I must be honest, I doubted I'd ever get that email.By the time I got home and checked my mail, there was his email confirming our conversation. I was so impressed at their attitude, it was completely customer-centric for a small thing like a loaf of R21 bread. I wish other retailers would take a leaf out of this book.
