Nearly defrauded

On saturday the 14/12/2013 I went to the branch to buy my a pair of puma tekkies which cost R449.00 I paid with my card but as I was leaving the store I noticed that an amount of R899, 00, had been taken from my account which I then went back to query to my suprise I was not even given an explanaition or an appology as to why such an error occured instead I was riduculed before being given my R450, 00 back no remorse what so ever, which only leaves me asking myself a question: was a mistake or was it crooke me and how many people has this happened to that did not notice that it has happened.
