Very poor service from Repairs Centre

I was given a breakfast pack (toaster and kettle) as a wedding present last year. I gave the kettle away but was using the toaster. After one year the toaster stopped working properly, so I took it to Makro Springfield, where it was bought, for repairs since it is under a 2 year warranty. After 3 months of waiting, Makro got back to me to inform me that they cannot repair the toaster and that I must bring the kettle back to them to receive a new breakfast pack. This is where the problem arose, because each time I called the centre to explain that I didnt have the kettle anymore and if I could be issued with a toaster only, they could not help me and promised to call back. This happened twice with no one calling me back. This morning was my third attempt in calling, yet still no one could help me - I just got passed between people. They also put the phone down on me 3 times, resulting in me calling back each time. Now I am fed up and would like to warn others about purchasing appliances from Makro in case repairs are needed, because you may never get your appliance back! At least mine is a toaster (small), but I would be extremely upset if it was e.g. a fridge.
