I went to Furniture City at the Clear Water Crossing branch to view some of the lounge suites. This was my second visit. During the end of my visit, the salesman tells me that it would be common courtesy to ask for the initial salesman that assisted me. I was completely shocked by this statement and mentioned to him that I have been shopping around quite a bit and I have no time to remember every single person's name. I just need to look for what I want. He goes on to say that by me not going to the other guy is going to create conflict which they dont want. I dont see how the that is my problem. I go into your store to buy furniture and not build relationships. This display of "customer possession" is extremely pathetic and one thing is for sure is that I will never set foot at this branch if this is the schoolyard behaviour that is being displayed. Furniture City management need to get the attitude of their sales staff in check.
