Century Spa
Didn't receive what I had been promised & paid fo

I was very disappointed after receiving a facial at Century Spa on the 7th December.

We did arrive early and were attended to in a professional manner straight away. We filled out forms and were offered lemon water to drink while the spa bath was switched on.

My husband and I thought that the Sauna cabin and Spa bath were both too cold. We tried to turn the Sauna temperature up but were not successful. We also tried to pour more hot water into the bath but it was lukewarm. This was all bearable because we relaxed a little and it was not expensive.

We then went for our eagerly awaited facials. We were met by one therapist in the passageway and the other met us in the treatment room. Neither introduced themselves to us.

I had booked for the Guinot Hydradermie Lift special for R500.00 per person. I had checked and was advised that the treatment would last 1 hour and 15 minutes as per the Cenruty Spa website. We noticed when we were walking to our car afterwards, that our treatments had lasted an hour.

I had written on my list that I have sensitive skin. This was not discussed prior to my treatment. As mentioned, I was lucky in that I knew that I have no reaction to the Guinot p
