Pick n Pay Hypermarket Tactics!!!

In the market for a bluray player as I just sold my media player and wanted to get something for the kids to use during the school holidays. I make a few phone calls to the local Pick n Pay Hypermarket in Ottery, speak to a salesman (Irafaan maybe, will know his face) in the AV department and ask about the players on offer. He tells me they have a Samsung BDF5500 on special for R799. I Google the specs while his confirming and making sure about the model no/price. I ask him if his sure it's that price/model and he says yes. Upon getting there, I ask the same guy I spoke to on the phone to show me the player we spoke about. He takes me to the shelf and shows me the Samsung BDF5500. I take it off the shelf and as I'm about to leave he tells me that's not the one, I'm sorry but I made a mistake with the price. That 1 is R1199.99. So what the F*%k now. I speak to someone at the front desk and after 10 mins he says they can give me R100 petrol but I have to pay R1199.99 for the BDF5500. It looks as if they tell you one thing and when you get there they try to sell you something more exspensive. Pick n Pay se. Will neva buy there again. Poor staff knowledge/ bad service. Email me!!
