Unauthorised transactions on my account

In the monthly statement I received for this account, dated for the period ending 07/12/2013, there were four transactions related to charges for financial services with the Edcon group, namely in relation to "personal accident insurance" and "hospital cash back insurance". These occurred on 22 November 2013 and 7 December 2013. These four transactions totalled R107.85.

At no point in time did I sign up for either of these policies. In fact, at no point have I signed up for any optional Edcon policies.

I duly queried these transactions with a call to your customer service account today (Wednesday 18 December 2013). After speaking with an agent and trying, unsuccessfully, to rectify the matter, I sent a detailed email to the Edgars account department [Email Removed] laying out the situation in detail. I have yet to receive any response (acknowledgement of receipt or attempt to resolve the problem), either to my email or my message via Twitter.

I expect a speedy resolution to this matter, and would appreciate that this query be escalated accordingly. Failing this, I will not hesitate to close the account and pay only what I believe to owe legitimately.
