Robbed of e-bucks by the Makro system

Over the weekend I went to Makro Alberton, where I spent R3500 . At the end of the transaction I presented my e-bucks card so that I could have it swiped for points. Imagine my surprise when I was told that this could not be done as they had already put through a discount voucher, so the system would not accept my e-bucks card. Because of some absolutely stupid programming I am now out-of-pocket after spending so much money with Makro. Why bother offering someone a discount voucher if they then effectively take it away again through some totally illogical reasoning.
