My Rochester Northgate problem has now extended to their Head office. I spoke to a man called Darian last week, was very professional and had said they would collect their furniture the following day, on Tues 26 November. He was also going to email me the cancellation forms immediately.

That was the last we communicated. Since then, I have left several messages in follow-up for Darian (the person who was to assist with the cancellation) and emailed him to no avail. We would like Rochester to cancel our order, collect their furniture and refund us. Their switchboard operator is now also at a loss of words as she has witnessed the lack of service herself and called it unacceptable herself.

The lady at the switchboard always confirms that Darian is at work and passes my messages on. I would imagine that if a purchase is straight forward then all is well, but should something go wrong with Rochester it really goes bad. We certainly wont risk this experience again. Thanks to Rochester, I now have a Hello Peter login - I had never complained about any company before.
