I bought a Defy "cooker hood" 3 months ago and had it installed in my new place a month ago. It has not been working as advertised and due to this I had a call logged through Tafelberg Meubels, A defy technician then came out and did not even check the cooker hood, he said it is not an extractor fan and will not extract and will only diminish the smells. My cooker does not diminish any smells nor does it extract anything. In the 1st week of using it, I had water drops all over my hob as it does not extract a thing. It makes a huge noise for absolutely no reason. And the smell of food still floats through my house. so I complained about this to Tafelberg as the technician did not do his job. She logged another query and they were supposed to come to my place this afternoon to disable and check the cooker hood properly. Instead Defy leaves a manual book at my door step and walks away. I am so furious as I am also in the process of purchasing a dishwasher from Defy, but with this kind of service that is not going to happen. I am going to return the cooker hood and I want my money back.
