Payment of purchase

We bought a coin a year ago and decided to sell it back to the Coin shop when we handed it in they said it will take 2-3 days for the funds to be in the bank account. It is now a week and still we have not received any payment for this coin that they already have in there possession, the excuse that we are now getting is that it is there monthend and we will only get payment 10 working days later.
