A bad situation turned to good by Walmart Team

I purchased an LG hardrive a few months ago and lost the receipt. Sadly the harddrive stopped working and I did not know what to do and just kept it in storage. I was not sure whether I purchased from Dion Wired or Games so took it Dion who offered to exchange it. Upon arrival they told me that the bar code was unique to Game. I then called Game for assistance and Tyronne informed that the item is discontinued but offered an alternate make which I took up for the same price as the LG refunded item. The compliment is not about the refund or the exchange but more about how the Management handled the complaint. I was called by Dion Management then numerous times by Games Fourways management to keep me in the loop. They tried other stores for the item but non available so the alternate was offered. This serves as a good reminder as to why I buy from Games and other Walmart stores. Well Done Tyronne. In closing I am hoping Walmart initiates a Walmart card similar to the Makro Card to accumulate points, track purchases and customer profiles. This will make Walmart a truly first class company in ZA.Thank you management teams members that assisted.
