Jet cellphone insurance disaste

I had a cell phone insurance with Jet since 2008. The phone I bought ended up not working, it just stopped working not switching on again. I took the phone to Jet at Soshanguve plaza they took it to their technicians and returned back unfixed. They told me it will never work again and the damage was not caused by the phone falling into the water because it that was the case no claims are made on phone damaged by water. My phone was not damaged by water it just stopped working. They said they can't give me a new phone and worse part the store lost my insurance papers. I have now cancelled the insurance and I am highly disappointed by this. I lost a lot of money by paying for an insurance but couldn't claim for my phone.
