Staff - ignorant, clueless

I called their head office this morning and was advised that the reason I am being charged interest on my account is for the simple reason that one of the staff members put through a purchases which was made on 10 March 2013 for an amount of R340 over a period of 12 months. I usually only check what the amount due is but on closer inspection, I noticed these interest charges. The account also does not reflect any transactions during the month and therefore I am not aware whether articles which have been bought or specifically a jacket which was returned in October/November for R450 is not reflected. Why should I pay for Truworths's staffs incompetence. I have an accounts with other stores and I am very careful as it is either 6 months or 12 months terms. Now who in their right mind would rather take a 12 month interest bearing account.
