Undelivered goods and no refund

The problem is an undelivered mattress, which I bought at the same moment on 2013.05.09 for R2909.95, with receipt no. 262083 and Account no. 00880-322627-00.
It is now 6 months since this cash sale was done, but the mattress is still undelivered. I therefore requested a full refund on 2013.10.29. The promise was that it will take a few days. On Monday 4 November 2013 I call Russells (Caledon), just to follow up on the progress of the cancellation and received the shocking news from the credit manger (Lezanne, ) that she can't find the receipt on her system. Since then I tried customer service, the refund department, who all promised that they will come back to me, but it was only empty promises.
My hope is to get a reply on this email with a possible outcome, before I need to try other methods to get my refund.
