The JACKSON DINING TABLE was purchased by us on 14 july 2013 and collected by us a few days later. we only assembled the table one month later as we were renovating our kitchen.
after a day or 2 we noticed that the surface of the table was not smooth oiled oak as it should be but had masses of fine splinters on the surface. if we open table up to a 6 seater, it is the same on the underside. my girls are getting fine wood splinters in their hands and we cannot even wipe the table as little bits of cloth remain on the surface.
I went in to the store on 28.9.13 to speak to Heidi who was on lunch. I spoke to Raymond who told me to e-mail her and Celeste (manager) I did and sent pictures of table surface. That was on about the 28.10.13.
I have had no response from either of them.
We would like a new Jackson table, and we would like @home to deliver it and take damaged table away. It feels like the surface of the table has never been sanded. We would appreciate immediate attention to this matter. Thank you Jacqui Briton
